There are moments when I feel alone, and I have to remember where I come from.

I imagine myself like the lotus ~ rooted deep in earth and water, reaching inward for the nutrients I need while leaning toward the warmth of the sun.

And then I remember: I am loved. I am whole. I am nurtured.

We are connected through earth, sky, sun, and water.
